Playground Membership Terms

Playground exists to support meaningful connection and shared intelligence between people who are building something of their own. Members are expected to move through all Playground spaces, both online and in person, with maturity, restraint, and respect for others.

This includes listening as much as speaking, allowing space for others, and contributing without seeking attention, advantage, or validation.

Playground is not a networking platform. It is not a marketplace for services, recruitment, or promotion. Any behaviour that treats the community as a resource to be extracted from rather than contributed to may be grounds for review.

Members agree to respect the privacy of others at all times. Conversations, identities, and circumstances shared within Playground spaces are not to be disclosed, recorded, or distributed without explicit consent.

This applies to in person gatherings, digital spaces, and private introductions facilitated through Playground.

Breach of discretion is considered a serious violation of membership standards.

Access to gatherings, guest passes, introductions, and curated experiences is at Playground's discretion, based on availability and fit.

Membership does not guarantee access to every event, city, or experience. Invitations and approvals are extended with care to protect the experience for everyone.

Playground reserves the right to pause, limit, or decline access to any aspect of the ecosystem where standards or capacity require it.

Introductions facilitated through Concierge are offered at Playground's discretion. Not all requests will result in an introduction.

Introduction requests may be declined without explanation to protect the trust within the community.

Membership is USD $99 per month, billed monthly. Billing continues until cancelled by the member.

Members may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time.

Changes to pricing will be communicated in advance and will not apply retroactively.

Playground reserves the right to review membership at any time.

Where behaviour compromises the integrity, safety, or quality of the space, Playground may suspend or terminate membership without refund.

This decision is made to protect the broader community and is not subject to appeal.

The Access All Areas (AAA) Pass is a complimentary access pass granted at Playground's sole discretion. It provides temporary access to Playground's member ecosystem, including events, digital spaces, and community features.

The AAA Pass is not a paid membership and does not constitute a contractual entitlement to continued access. Playground reserves the right to modify, limit, suspend, or revoke AAA Pass access at any time and for any reason, without notice or obligation.

All membership standards, discretion requirements, and conduct expectations outlined in these terms apply equally to AAA Pass holders. Holding an AAA Pass does not guarantee conversion to paid membership.

Playground uses artificial intelligence (AI) to power certain features within the platform, including but not limited to content recommendations, member matching, automated communications, and conversational tools. By using Playground, you acknowledge that some features are AI-assisted.

AI-generated content or suggestions are not a substitute for professional advice. Playground makes no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated output.

Members may upload photos, videos, audio, text, and other content to the platform. By uploading content, you represent that you own or have the necessary rights to that content and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.

Playground complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and will respond to valid takedown notices. If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to [email protected] including: (i) identification of the copyrighted work; (ii) identification of the infringing material and its location; (iii) your contact information; (iv) a statement of good faith belief that use is not authorised; and (v) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Repeat infringers may have their membership terminated.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to your membership or use of the Playground platform shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the parties cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, both parties agree to resolve the dispute through binding individual arbitration under the rules of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA), rather than in court.

You agree that any dispute will be resolved on an individual basis only, and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Playground.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. Nothing in this clause limits either party's right to seek urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

By activating and maintaining your membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

Playground may update these terms from time to time. Continued membership constitutes acceptance of any updates.
